Artist's Comments

I sketched/inked this while watching Gamera: Guardian of the Universe with a handful of friends. I thought this doodle looked flattering for this under-appreciated kaiju, so i a while back (this was over a year ago) i decided to colour it. Obviously i didn't get very far. The lineart isn't as flattering up close, so i stopped after the flatcolours and gave it a bold frame in MS Paint. It's been collecting dust on my hard drive, and i thought i'd share it-- especially since i can't really produce anything new without the aid of a scanner... or my wireless mouse that seems to have run off somewhere. :(

The rest of the doodle page that this is from was rather silly. I remember that i had crudely drawn Jaiger buttraping Guiron... and also a super cute gappa that made :iconaoichan1: go retarded.


OH and Gabara is (C) Toho Co. Ltd. and not mine.

Well, like i said, this is actually rully ooold... I still don't have a scanner. BUT- as soon as i get one, i can finish an art trade and this Nidoking pic i've been so anxious to finish. I hope to save up for one by the end of January. O____o; Gwaaah... i need to draw more Gabara as well. ><;

O___O OMG it's okay. It's against human nature to casually read anything more that 4 lines long. I learned that in my brief college days! :P I had to use the internet at school for a while, too, so i know how it is. You should sell one of your kidneys and get a laptop. :thumbsup:
